I am 72 years old and remember well the grits my Grandmother served for breakfast. I loved them, but they don't hold up against these grits. My son's grew up on them, and ask for them all the time. I buy two five pound bags every time I order.

Excellent product!!! Enjoy eating for breakfast with fried pork chops but really good with cat fish or trout. Have been using for years since my sister who lives in Georgia gave me item for Christmas. Prior to that I had only tasted quick grits and was not fond of them. Speckled grits completely changed my mind about grits. I live in Washington and the postage is reasonable and the product worthy of ordering!!!
